Online Bookmaker Offering Skill Games

Players at online sportsbook StanJames.com can now take part in person-to-person skill games such as gin rummy, multi-player blackjack and backgammon following a deal with games provider GameAccount.

In addition, in a first for the skill gaming industry, players can launch side games from the site’s lobby without missing any live person-to-person skill gaming action.

'We are delighted to welcome Stan James into our fast-growing Network, which has experienced explosive growth in player numbers and staking activity,' said Kevin Dale, Chief Executive Officer for GameAccount.

'Our blue-chip corporate customers benefit from unique skill gaming software in attracting new players, reducing the dreaded churn and driving meaningful revenues comparable to poker. Gin rummy, backgammon and our unique multiplayer blackjack form a compelling suite of person-to-person games super-charged by the presence of new instant win side games to fill idle minutes.

“GameAccount is integrated with several sportsbook platforms including Orbis and Finsoft. Stan James is our third licensee sportsbook operator utilising the Finsoft sportsbetting software platform.'

This is really good news. I have always had a fondness for the skill based gaming, far more in some ways to gambling. I like the feeling of being more in control of my own fate, and only having myself to blame when I lose I guess!

I will definitely be looking into this site. I love skill-based gaming like gin rummy and backgammon. Unfortunately, haven't had any real play for a long time as none of my friends play. I've never heard of multi-player blackjack but it sounds cool.

This does sound fun and a change from the average online gambling offered. Its a wonder people haven't though to offer it before. It should attract a new type of player to the table as well since there is more emphasis on the player not the luck of the draw.
