While I'm not seriously superstitious, I have always referred to "13" as my lucky number as some very good things have happened to me on the date. I like the novelty of this idea and would try my luck if the US would let me.

This is a super cute idea. I think the getting a refund on your bad luck is a neat idea as well, and was probably just as welcome as part of the promotion. I'm not very superstitious though.
