Social Networking For Gamblers

A social networking website for those who enjoy to play blackjack; craps; poker and more has been set up, allowing gamblers to connect and chat online.

Players can meet on a truly global level.

Founder Lucas Goldman claims, “The site is not merely a source of entertainment. It is influencing the lives of many online players by providing the bridge to connect people who have the same passion for the game.''

Players who join the site create a detailed profile including personal details, photos and gambling experience. This helps online casinos and poker rooms promote their site for free, which will lead to strong support from industry giants.

The DealtoPlay.com social network grows rapidly as casino and poker players invite their buddies to discuss wagering and meet other like-minded individuals,' Goldman stated. 'It's a powerful, online tool, but at the same time, it's fun and easy to use.”

While I think the social network is a really cool idea and I will probably sign up myself, I do think the founder is making his claim a bit too soon of "It is influencing the lives of many online players". It is rather too early to judge this, not to mention a tad bit of overkill.

Hey, why not? I mean they have social networking for almost everything else, so gambling getting in on it too almost makes perfectly logical sense! It works for everyone else, and it works quite well here also.

Sounds like an interesting thing to do without actually having to bet and spend money. I would definitely benefit from some interaction with other players and somewhere to maybe plan tournaments with friends and find new players.

I think it's a great thing to do. Like GamingNut said, they have social networks for everything else, so why not be able to interact with others who enjoy gambling in a setting outside the actual games?
