Great Scott

Hello to you, Emily Scott. What have you been up to back home in Australia?

It’s been very busy! I’ve had photo shoots on two beautiful beach locations, travelled around the east coast of Australia on the first leg of my DJ tour and we’ve begun to organise the Emily’s Motel and Casino Poker tournaments for the summer.

What does it feel like to be not only Australia’s sexiest woman, but also as voted by FHM readers last year, the world’s ninth sexiest female?

Amazing! I had only been modelling for six months when the readers voted me Australia’s sexiest woman so when I was voted in the UK at number 9 I was elated! I had one million votes, I couldn’t believe it–it was very cool!

Your rise to fame was pretty steep. Was it difficult coping with the extra attention or was that the easy part?

That’s the fun part really. Photo shoots are a lot of fun. Also, when I’m DJ-ing I’m often performing in front of 1500 people so you’ve got to be cool with all the attention. I love attending events and this year we’re going to organise poker and casino events that tie into my next DJ-ing tour.

You’re a bit of globetrotter, basing yourself in Sydney and London. Obviously Australia is home to you, but what do you love/hate about both cities?

I love the sun, so I’ve basically had an endless summer for the past 3 years. It is pretty mad living in two places that are on opposite sides of the world. English summer is great because everyone is in major party mode and when it gets cold, then I’m safe in the knowledge that Australia is heating up for its long summer celebrations.

Now, you’ve been on the cover of Playboy, FHM, Maxim, ZOO a few times (they seem to like you), and Ralph, amongst others. Which cover shoot are you most proud of?

My very first one was shot in Las Vegas in Death Valley, it featured in 40 different magazines around the world so I’m very proud of that. My 2008 calendar shoot in Spain (which you can see on my website) is also a favourite because I got to style it myself and we got some amazing shots.

Are you a fan of your own work? I mean, people obviously enjoy seeing you with very little on, but what’s it like seeing your most intimate parts printed for the whole world to see?

I grew up on the Gold Coast in Australia where we basically live in bikinis and not much else so I’ve always been used to it. I love seeing pictures of beautiful woman looking glamorous!

Apart from gambling.com, naturally, what would be your dream magazine cover shoot?

Rolling Stone! That would be cool. I could do a shoot where I smash up some decks with a diamond microphone or something!

You’ve also appeared in couple of videos with Robbie Williams…

I was in the video for his world tour. We had fun making that clip.

Now, why has Emily Scott launched her own online casino?

I’ve spent a lot of time in casinos in Australia, and Vegas is my favourite place on earth. I love that atmosphere. The first thing I did when I moved to London was get membership to Fifty Casino, in St James. I love anything to do with chance and risk and since I travel so much having my own online casino is great because I can be anywhere in the world and play with the players.

Would you consider yourself a gambler? Are you a risk taker?

I’ve always been a risk taker. I’m not afraid to make mistakes and I like the rush.

What sort of exciting games, promotions and bonuses can new customers look forward to?

Emily Scott slot machines are being designed with big rewards. Emily Money will be given to people who register on the site.

You’ve been getting into poker as well. Have you been having lessons?

One of my friends is a pro poker player so I’ve been having some intensive training. I sucked in the beginning but now I’m getting pretty good! Its practice, practice, practice isn’t it!

Have you played in any live/online tournaments?

I’ve played in numerous online tournaments–that’s what I do when I’m travelling. I end up staying in a lot of hotels and I don’t watch TV so I’ll fire up my laptop and play casino games online.

If you could have a fantasy game of poker in your house with any 5 people from history, who would you invite, and why?

Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie for glamour, my friend Jen who bought me my first poker set when we were 17, Marilyn Monroe and Al Capone.

Will we be seeing you ripping it up at the poker tables any time soon?

You will! Check my website for event dates around the world.
