Cantor Gaming Signs Deal With Heavy Metal Magazine
Cantor Gaming, operator of Cantor Casino, have signed a deal with fantasy publication Heavy Metal magazine to bring you a new range of exclusive games based on characters from within the pages of Heavy Metal.
It is a comic book aimed at adults, and a movie based on the works of Eastman is due to be released in 2010. Commenting on the agreement with Cantor Gaming, Mr Eastman said “I am delighted to have reached an agreement with Cantor Gaming to bring the unique characters and storylines to a new marketplace that I am sure will appreciate the vibrancy and originality of the brand.”
Cantor Gaming have teamed up with Eastman to bring a fresh range of exciting games to the gaming spotlight. As always Cantor are seeking to make their games different and innovative.
Manu Gambhir, Managing Director of Cantor Gaming said “Heavy Metal has long been a cult classic and our design teams immediately saw the ability to build innovative, cutting-edge casino games based on the brand. The games will be edgy, highly animated and deliver a completely new experience to our players.”

It sounds like they may have found a market niche. I'm also not into Heavy Metal, but I hope that this goes as a test experiment and they can branch into things I enjoy. :-)

I think this might take time for a good many to get used to. Like you said not all are HM fans but it could prove worthwhile if they can get some people talking about this.

These are bound to be some exciting, action packed gaming opportunities. Sometimes dark and edgy, but yet still with a certain sexiness, Heavy Metal has some loyal fans that will jump at the chance to play games based on the unique characters.

While I'm not a big fan of the Heavy Metal series, I do peek in from time to time and I do think some games based on the characters could be incredibly fun. It good to see new partnerships that will continue to offer new experiences.
