TimDawg888 Wins Huge First Prize at PokerStars Sunday Million
They’re normally big enough already, but the 2x Promotion which PokerStars is running means this weekend’s action was bigger than normal.
The promotion, which is running through the rest of this month, saw all tournament guarantees doubled. That applied to two of the biggest tournaments on the online calendar, the Sunday Warm-Up and the Sunday Million. Once the players settled in and got underway in the two events, the respective prize pools for the Warm-Up and Million were at least $1 million and $2 million respectively.
TimDawg888 ended up the winner in the Sunday Million, for a huge first prize of more than $235,350. The prize came after TimDawg888 agreed a three way chop with xanja and PokerMurphy1, who came second and third respectively.
Meanwhile, Parnish managed to take down this week''s Sunday Warm-Up crown, winning more than $137,670 for his efforts.
In other online news, Annette Obrestad was back to her usual winning ways over on Full Tilt Poker after she took down the Sunday Mulligan for $51,660.
