Team Ladbrokes Sign ‘Nebuchad’
Ladbrokes Poker has announced that last year’s Scandinavian online player of the year, Jonas ‘Nebuchad’ Danielsson, has joined Jon Kalmar, Roy Brindley, Jeff Kimber and Steve Davis as a member of its fully sponsored team.
He's an exciting addition to what is already a very established, respected poker team. Jonas, a very popular member of Team Ladbrokes, has already started to make waves having cashed in three World Series of Poker 2008 events, so watch this space.” Twenty-five-year-old Danielsson was born in Stromstad but moved to Uppsala five years ago in order to study technical physics. His best online performance so far was winning more than $150,000 at Ladbrokes Poker’s Legends Reunion in November.
'It's a really satisfying feeling to finally become a part of Team Ladbrokes as it is where I've played poker all of my 'poker life',” said Danielsson.
“The competitive poker that is offered at Ladbrokes has developed my game into what it is today.”

This might seem strange but I have to wonder when it comes to recruiting online players to the team. What else is known about them before they take them on, other than that they have a skill for the game? Is that all that is needed?

They probably know a lot more then just their skills and usernames. They have to provide information in order to get their winning and their real names are probably on a file.

I think its great this one made it and after winning 150,000 you know there has to be some skill and determination in that lad.
