Major Publication Shows Support For US Gamblers

Jim McDermott has introduced legislation attempting to legalise and regulate online casinos, poker and sports betting for US citizens – the income generated from online casinos (as much as $40 billion) could be used to school children in foster care, provide job training for declining industries and more, hence why it is called the Investing in Human Resources Act.

“All the money spent to try to ban online casinos is money poured down the drain. On the other hand, issues over minors, problem gambling, and honest play are all easily addressed through licensing and regulation.”

I find the online gambling law to be idiotic along with the law that limits how much a person can ante up in their own home. People do it anyway and its their call, so why put laws on it?

If US citizens want to gamble, they are going to gamble. Why should all the money go overseas? Let's put our gambling money back into our own economy and help some of our own citizens.

I think online gambling should be legalized. There are a lot of Americans who gamble online, despite the law, and all of the money is going to overseas countries. Just think of the money legalizing it could bring to America!
