Titan Poker Say ‘Da’ To Russian Poker Players
Titan Poker has announced they will now be offering their software and website in Russian, allowing those in the country to shuffle up and deal.
The Titan Poker website also appears in Dutch. The poker scene in Russia has been bristling in recent years, with a wider selection of cash games and tournaments on offer. With the increased interest in the game, there has been significant increase of players hailing from Russian-speaking countries taking up the online game. Now Titan will allow them to play the game in their first language, rather than having to grapple with foreign languages which they might be unfamiliar with.
Titan Poker manager, Robin Steele, says that ''we take special care and effort to accommodate all of our players. We want them to have the best quality online experience possible. Adding additional languages, such as Russian, is just one example of how we pay attention to players' suggestions.'
So, to all the Russian-speaking players out there, Давай, играть!
(That’s “let’s play”, in case you wondered…)

That's wonderful that they are opening themselves to a whole new market and Russian people are able to play comfortably in their own language!

This really is wonderful news for those players who till now have had to just struggle with the language divide. I hope that this makes people a lot more comfortable, though I would also be a little saddened at losing some of the interaction.

I've always though it is great that large domains translate into multiple languages. While its fun to hope people who want to use English sites would learn English its not likely to happen and just loses customers. Good on them.

Thats awesome! I once had the pleasure of sitting beside a kindly old russian fellow on a plane once and he loves poker. He complained about how there isn't much services for them to play internationally.

Hat's off to Titan for making their games available to Russian players. Russian, Dutch, English -- perhaps Spanish is next.

Hey the more the merrier right? I love the idea, if you can get more people involved its just like any other online community, it expands, growing and you all have a chance to interact with other cultures, even if its via gambling. privyet! (pree-vyet)
