Man Bets Pot and Is Arrested
On what is turning out to be a muggy Friday afternoon here in the Bluff Europe towers, you sometimes need a story like this to make you smile.
An American man was arrested recently after he had attempted to bet an ounce of weed at a blackjack table in the US.Inside the Casino 1 venue in downtown Fresno, California, the player reached into his pocket and produced an ounce of marijuana buds. Realising he might have overbet slightly, he then emptied out a handful of them onto the table, leaving the dealer slightly confused. After his arrest, the stoner then attempted to claim what he had done was legal as he had a Cannabis Club card he’d got from the internet.
That’s not the only bad news for the man concerned though, who may face another bad beat after his ‘bet’ could be seen as distribution in the eyes of the courts. Should that be the case, the man may face a longer stretch in prison.

I cannot even imagine this happening. Dude must have smoked quite a bit before reaching that blackjack table, methinks. You are right...this one is guaranteed to make you smile even while you shake your head at the stupidity shown.

I really doubt a distribution charge would stick as in effect he was so doped he couldn't think straight-clearly. Which means he wouldn't have the brain power to distribute, and he clearly only wanted to bet with it like money not encourage the dealer to smoke it (at least not right there maybe). He is an idiot though.

What an idiot, i wish i had been there so i could laugh in his face as he produces the bag. And what the heck is a Cannabis Club? Doesnt he know not to believe everything online?

The link to the video does not work for me just so people know. Also this guy is really a dope to start with. I wonder how he managed to even get into the place as I'm sure he was a little on the stinky side.

Oh my goodness! How could this guy be so dumb? Didn't he realize how illegal this would be? And now he may get distribution? Good...he probably deserves it!

HaHaHa!! This guy deserves the stupid award of the day! Can you imagine what the poor dealer was thinking? And the other players? They were probably all standing around with their chins on the floor! Gosh I wish I could have seen it!
