Sit and Go Madness Part IV Announced

Full Tilt Poker is one poker site which has come up with a real mix of promotions over the years.

They have the Iron Man Challenge, ideal for cash game players who like to grind out the hours. There’s also the infamous FTOPs series, designed for MTT specialists, and now they have concocted a little something for the Sit and Go players out there, with the SNG Madness Part IV series due to kick off next month.

This weekend, anyone who takes part in SnG competitions will be in contention for a $75,000 prize on top of their normal winnings. Selected one table tournaments will be used to make up one of four leaders, with points being earned according to your finishing position – the higher you finish, the more points you earn. As you earn more points, you will move up the leaderboard which in turn wins you more cash.

If you are worried that you will need to dedicate your whole weekend to be in contention though, don’t fret. There’s a total of 24 two-hour blocks which will make up the four groups. The prizes aren’t too bad either, relative to the buy-ins, with $1-$2 SNGs awarded up to $20 per leader board, $5-$11 award up to $100 per group, $20-$33 SNGs awarding up to $200 per group. The biggest hitters, in the $50-$110 SNGs bracket, will pay up to $500 per two hour group. Remembering this is on top of your normal winnings, it makes for a tidy little bonus on the side.

Should you not qualify for the top of the leaderboards though, FTP are awarding every sit and go winner a raffle ticket into a prize draw where Full Tilt Poker gear, chip sets and tickets to FTOPs events are up for grabs.

I know the increased competition is leading to the vast array of promotions by most online poker sites but Full Tilt has been coming up with creative new ideas from the very beginning. This is one of the things that make it so popular and successful among online gamblers.

An Iron Man Challenge sounds cute. I agree, they have managed to continually prove their top status with inventive, fun and profitable tournaments and prizes.
