Wax On, Wax Off…

A Brooklyn limousine company owner has filed a complaint against the Borgata in Atlantic City for a bad case of body odour.

Michael Wax, a 54 years old man who weighs in around 440 pounds, has admitted to not smelling too hot having sat down for a 17 hour stretch at the Borgata, but has shown no hesistation in filing a complaint for his ejection.

According to reports, the player spent over seventeen hours at the tables, which began to prove too much for some of the other players. On hearing their complaints, Wax asked the casino management for a free room to freshen up, which he felt was merited having been gambling hard all day. Not only did the casino refuse, they even escorted Wax out of the poker room. The disgruntled player has filed the complait with the Casino Control Commission, which will be reviewed to see whether any state gambling laws or regulations were violated.

Personally, we think the eviction stinks.

Why should he be entitled to a free room? There are public restrooms where he could "freshen" up. Didn't he know he was going to be gambling all day and come prepared? I do think the casino could have been more accomodating just because he is a customer but it doesn't violate any laws.

I'm not sure what laws there are that pertain to such things, but I think after spending 17 hours and who knows how much money playing poker they could have very well comped a room for him to take a shower in as opposed to kicking him out. It borders on the picking on the fat kid in dodgeball tactics for my tastes.

Wow...I can't believe they kicked him out! There must have been a better way to handle this situation. I don't blame the guy for filing a claim against them!
