Fortune Affiliates Awarded eCOGRA Seal

Fortune Affiliates has announced that it has become the first online gaming affiliate programme to receive the Affiliate Trust Seal from London-based standards authority eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA).

Just as its Safe and Fair Seal has identifies the most reputable online casinos and poker rooms, its new Affiliate Trust Seal now recognises affiliate operators that observe the same standards of fairness and excellence.

Fortune Affiliates was awarded the Seal after a thorough audit and on-site inspection where it was required to demonstrate best business practice standards backed by a strict inspection and monitoring system.

“We are extremely honoured to receive the very first Affiliate Trust Seal,” read a statement from Fortune Affiliates.

“The process was a tough one but, as our affiliates have always known, we have always held ourselves to very high standards.”

To display the new Seal, affiliate programs must demonstrate that their programme establishes, enforces and monitors best practice standards. Specifically, they must show that they calculate affiliate revenues accurately and make payments promptly and that they have controls in place to accurately link players to affiliates.

“We’re very happy for Fortune Affiliates and not the least bit surprised to see them achieve this honour,” said Lou Fabiano, President for CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com.

“One of our premier certified partners, Fortune Affiliates is one of the largest, oldest and most respected groups in the Microgaming family and fully deserving of being the first affiliate programme awarded with the prestigious eCOGRA seal.”

This is a good boost for them and I know many people will be happier knowing they are among the trusted list.

Its good to hear that sites are seeking such certifications out and not just dealing with no backing. Makes you feel secure even if they didn't quite pass.

Having a seal like this I know is setting high standards for any other site of its kind. I wish more sites like this would realize that honesty and trust means a lot more than site hits and members.

This is a good thing folks, and congrats for being the first! I am sure there is some celebrating going on right now for them all.

This should give them a boost in affiliate applications. It's hard to know which programs that you can trust so a certification process like this goes a long way to establishing a program's reputation.

I hope that more sites will seek certifications such as this. It not only inspires trust from affiliates, it also inspires trust from players. Perhaps if more sites become accredited in some way, more government officials would see the difference between reputable online gambling and disreputable gambling.
