If its free it will be more welcoming to those who have never played before thinking that every type of game has a charge to try it out, and for those like you and me who have played before and not liking some of the fees other places get away with.

I like the idea of a cash prize though just for showing up its a good way to bring people in and also motivate some other new people.

I think this is the first time I've seen a slots tournament that didn't have some sort of entry fee so that is definitely very interesting. If you're going to play slots anyway, you'd have to be a fool not to at least attempt to grab a share of the prizes on this one.
