Many hands make light work with CryptoLogic’s new multi-hand blackjack game.

Blackjack is the most popular casino game in the world. CryptoLogic’s new Multi-hand Video Blackjack is a revolutionary concept that allows players to play more hands, more quickly than ever before.

Following the premise of Video Poker machines that allows multiple decisions from a single event, MH-VBJ allows the player to play up to five hands of Blackjack in order to produce up to 250 results in one game round! (An unlimited number of dealer and player hands are theoretically possible)

Just as Video Poker introduced an element of skill to gaming machines, Multi-Hand Video Blackjack lets the players test their abilities in the same fashion. The playing strategy doesn’t change in MH-VBJ; only the volume of hands played.

Players can play from one to five hands of blackjack versus 3 to 50 independently drawn dealer hands, providing as many as 250 decisions from a single game round. A table game with a fast dealer would take close to an hour to deal that number of decisions at a full table!

Here’s how it works. You choose how and then select how many hands the dealer will play (up to 50). You receive your cards, and the dealer receives one face-up card which will be the starting point for all of his hands. Now, you play out your individual hands—hitting, standing, splitting or doubling down—just as you would at a regular blackjack table. Once you’re done, the dealer plays out all of his hands.

As each dealer hand is completed, the outline around the player’s hands displays briefly as green (win), yellow (push), or red (loss). At the same time, musical notes are played corresponding to the player’s hand position and the outcome. (Hint: There are four different sound options hidden in the game for users to find!)

By watching the flickering colours and listening to the ‘music’ that the completed hands create, players will have a good sense of their results before they even look at the final bet and paid fields at the end of the game.

With a single strong hand, you can beat the dealer up to 50 times in one round! With bets ranging from 25p per hand up to £50, solid blackjack players can rack up wins at an incredible rate. With the click of a button, you can view what percentage of hands you’ve won, lost and pushed; there’s also a tutorial feature which makes learning the game a breeze.

Multi-hand blackjack is available at online casinos including Littlewoods, William Hill and InterCasino.
