PokerStars Signs Two More Pros
PokerStars.com, one of the world’s largest online poker rooms, has announced the addition of two more professional players to its Team PokerStars Pro, taking the tally to 40.
Known for his stylish dress sense and calm demeanour, he finished in tenth place in the main event of the 2004 World Series Of Poker (WSOP).Luske is joined by 22-year-old Florida native Mercier, who has amassed over $3.2 million in live tournament winnings since his first appearance at last year’s PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Mercier won the PokerStars European Poker Tour Season Four event in San Remo for $1,372,893 before finishing in sixth spot at the Season Five event in Barcelona a few months later for $324,946. He also won last year’s PokerStars European Poker Tour Million One Dollar Showdown High-Roller tournament in London for $944,847 before going on to take his first WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha competition for $237,415.
