PKR Scoops Top Award
PKR.com is celebrating another triumph after scooping Best Poker Affiliate Program at the 2008 CAP Euro Awards in London last weekend.
PKR, the fastest-growing poker room on the net, received nominations for Best Poker Affiliate Program and Best Affiliate Manager. The site fought off competition from industry leaders including PartnerLogic, ChipLeader and Everest Affiliates to be crowned Best Poker Affiliate Program – quite an achievement for a site which launched just over a year ago.
The CAP (Casino Affiliate Programs) Euro Awards are the online gaming industry’s most highly respected affiliate awards and are the only recognition program where affiliates choose both the nominees and the winners. Nominations took place via CAP Magazine, mail-in forms and online voting. Finalists were announced at CAP Barcelona in October 2007, and the awards were presented at a gala black tie dinner at CAP Euro London on January 25th 2008.
PKR Affiliate Manager Margaret Burke said “The announcement that PKR had won Best Poker Affiliate Program was very gratifying. This category had nominees from highly established companies who have been around much longer than we have.
