Online Operator Arrested In Florida

In America, police have arrested the alleged operator of an illegal online gambling operation offering poker, slots and keno.

They stated that these cards were then slid through readers in order to begin gaming sessions and place bets. Lead investigator Heinz Bachmann told The Tampa Tribune that he had played games between February 17 and April 8 and that winners had been given cash payouts by the business.

Yikes, that's bad for the casino business. Glad that they figured the dude out and locked him up, but I wonder how many of the cards are still circulating out there. And how much trouble people would be in for using them.

It makes you wonder how many peoples job it is to sit there and take notice to keep people like this from scamming over casinos world wide. Its great they caught them, but I wonder how long they have been doing this type of thing for.

It doesn't really matter how many people are officially supposed to watch over such things. People are willing to hedge their own bets that they can make enough money before getting caught and shut down to make it worth it.

I guess I don't understand why it was illegal. Is gambling illegal in florida? Or is it illegal credit card use? I can't tell what's going on here.

Uh oh, that's not good. It seems that more and more of these are popping up and then getting caught, but it makes me wonder just how many are out there, working like this.
