Hi, I don’t have a credit or debit card, but would like to play online bingo. Are there any services that you bill on your mobile.

Not as far as I know. I would have thought this would be only applicable for mobile services, not web bingo services.

I want to start on Gala Bingo. Not sure though how to deposit the cash?

As a commercial site we have to be impartial, but there are some great bingo sites out there. A few that spring to mind are Party Bingo, Foxy Bingo, Sun Online Bingo. It depends some providers you’ll like better than others, we’ds suggest trying a couple and seeing which one you felt ost comfortable with.

Interested to know whether this an ancient or modern game. How did it get the name Bingo, and why is it now so popular.

The Commonwealth and US versions of bingo are slightly different games, but both probably come from the same root. Having looked at the evidence though, no one seems to be entirely sure. We wait to be corrected. The likely origin for both games would appear to the traditional Italian lottery Lo Giuoco del Lotto d’Italia, which spread to France in the 19th century as Le Lotto. The direct ancestor for both the British and American games would seem to be a German game based on Le Lotto. Anyway Bingo has come a long way from it’s Italian roots to today’s online versions from Foxy and Gala.

Is there anything I can do to help me win at bingo. Anything that can be down with the manufactured cards, Any advice welcome.

The problem is that you’ve got to bet money to make money generally. There are many fine bingo sites out there, Gala, Foxy, Minxy, The Sun Bingo etc. We hear that pogo.com doesn’t require your credit card details, but it hasn’t got the same sort of profile as the others.

I love Sun Bingo, but I wonder if anyone has tips on the number of tickets I should buy or any other ways of increasing my chances of winning.

Well Bingo is of course a game of chance so no guarantees. Some of the things that have been recommended to me though are.
1. Playing more than one card, usually up to 3 or 4 per game
2. Using the automatic daubing features to avoid missed calls
3. Looking for the games with fewer players. This gives you better odds
4. Playing consistently.
5. Playing in the big money games, gives of course a better chance of winning big money
