Le Croupier Review
A simply stunning setting to gamble bringing together the technical nouse of MKO games, who specialise in scintillating 3D games and Lucien Barriere Hôtels et Casinos, the French casino owners who own 31% of the casino market in France, as well as 38 casinos in Europe.
The result is a magical casino world that oozes class, sophistication, enough so, that you can even smell the espresso martinis in the air. You are able to play in various ident replica's of the companie's casino's around the world, which have been integrated in an intelligent manner - although the actual virtual model doesn't replicate any one particular casino.
The four options available on Le Croupier are:
Surrender : Immediately after the deal, you have the option to give up half of your wager and forfeit the hand. This option may be the best with hands which have less than a 50% chance of winning.
Split : If your are given two first cards of equal value, you are allowed to split them into two separate hands. In that case, you place an additional wager on the second hand equal to the first one.
Double Down : After you receive your first two cards you may double your initial bet but you may receive one more card only. A good bet if the player is in a strong situation.
Insurance : If the dealer shows an Ace, the player is given the option to take an insurance before the dealer checks his second hidden card. The player may make a side bet equal to half of his original bet. This is a separate bet to insure against the case the dealer has a blackjack. If the dealer finaly gets a blackjack, you get double your insurance bet and you lose your original bet money. If the dealer has anything else than a blackjack, you lose your side bet, but your original bet remains in play.
A great environment to gamble and a clever interface that is both impressive and a lovely setting to wile away an hour or two at the blackjack table.
