Believe it or not there is just more than just sitting down at the slot machine and pushing the buttons when it comes to slot machines. There are many unspoken and unwritten laws that are just abided by, by all committed slot machine players.
Carry Proper Change
It is rule number one when it comes to slot machines is that you have to have the correct denominations when sitting at the slot machines. There are change people available who will be happy to assist you. If you are sitting at a particular limit, make sure you have the change that is right for that particular limit rather than thumbing around for the correct denominations.
Reservations
Make sure nobody has already claimed the machine by putting the reserve button on the machine or placing something on the seat. If there is any doubt, it is best to avoid the machine that you think has been set aside for somebody else.
Don¡¯t Grumble
It is just rather uncustomary to grumble or kick and scream about not winning at a slot machine. Everybody is there to just have fun so do not go about dampening the mood of others.
Payouts
For a large payout, do not walk away from your machine to try and flag somebody down. Just press the button for an attendant and somebody will come and assist you to cash out.
Protection
Always protect your coins at all times. Do not leave coins in the well and always cash out all the credits that are due before leaving. Keep an eye out for your money.
Problems
Best to always ask if there are problems with the machine rather than kicking or banging the machine. Call for an attendant and they will be happy to assist you.
