Personally the only tournament play that really interests me is poker. I play online and the main thing I have realized is that it is a lot different than cash games.

In tournaments though, I tend to be more relaxed as I can only potentially loose a certain amount of money (the buy-in), and therefore play a lot more than I should. Maybe thats a reason why I often loose....

How about everyone else?

Its poker for me too.

Concerning strategy, I would say that it is best to play most of your hands when the blinds are small rather than when they are big. This way you get more practice as well and get to know the players your playing against.

I have been considering playing poker in a tournament sitting for quite sometime now. It would certainly give me much pleasure and excitement but it's been on hold since I'm more preoccupied with other matters.

I hope you do find time to participate in a poker tournament. It really is worth the experience. Not only the thrill of climbing up the ladder to the main prize but also the amount of fun you can have doing so!
