| Anyone have any favorites? I want somewhere that will be fairly cheap, but close enough that we won't have to walk far to the casinos. Are there any decently priced rooms on the strip?

| To be on the Strip - Excalibur might be your best bet because it's right near MGM, Mandalay, Luxor, NY NY etc. It's an okay hotel - nothing fancy - one of the older ones on the Strip, but hey, it's on the Strip. There's Imperial Palace - next to Harrahs - but I'd even put Imperial Palace below Excalibur. What kind of price range do you want to be in?

| Excalibur is a nice hotel, decently priced and right there on the strip. If you have children with you that's the best place to stay too. It's nothing fancy, and it is a long walk to the other end of the strip, but I'd recommend it.
