I am curious to know if anybody knows the history of online casinos. Does anybody know what the first one was, and when they first started? Any interesting facts or statistics about online casinos?

I don't know the history but probably the 1st bet was place on whether there could ever be such a thing as computers talking to each other or a language made.

According to my search:

Intercasino goes online in October 1996, claiming to be the first internet casino to accept a real money wager online.

That's interesting. I've actually never even heard of Intercasino, are they still around? I can't believe it goes all the way back to more than ten years now. It makes me feel old.
