I see on the news that a camel has picked the Giants to win the Superbowl and an Orangutang has picked the Patriots to win.  I find it totally hillarious that a species that doesn't even watch tv is weighing in on the outcome of the Superbowl. Does anyone else find this strange?

Some people just hate leaving it down to lady luck. They will find any possible way they think they can to get a "prediction" so the result of their bet isn't based completely on luck.

I think it's rather silly personally.

Speaking of animal predictions I saw this morning that the ground hog in Pennsylvania once again didn't see his shadow which I find funny when there wasn't any sun much less very little daylight, with all the camera's going off how could he not see his shadow??  I have never figured out how that could possibly predict the weather.

Aww poor Phil. I imagine groundhogs might have com out of hibernation early if it was nice feeling, but ran back into their burrows if the weather outside was still yucky leading to the misconception that he can tell the weather. But you do have to admit he's got a great job. Once a year they drag him out, hold him up, and torture him with cameras and the rest of the year he gets to lay around being fed and pampered.

Yeah, and to top it off, he has us discussing his career and envying him just as seriously as we do other stars.  Wanna bet he'll soon get his own reality show?

If Phil gets his own reality show that will be the end of TV watching for me because that will be a little much but, it would be par for the course considering just about everything else has a reality show.

Well I hope the camel won some money, or hay.  Wonder if he knows anything about poker, he has a straight face.  As to Phil, he's heading for his own Hollywood star.
