| Have you ever, or do you know anybody who has, placed bets on video games? I have a friend who gambles with another over who can get the higher score on Guitar Hero. I had never heard of people ever doing that before, but it made me curious as to how many people actually do it.

| I used to bet with my boyfriend in college over video games (at least until he caught on it was more than luck). Loser had to buy dinner or go and get dinner, do dishes, etc. We'd agree on the terms then sit down for some good old Mortal Combat one on one. Worked for almost a year before he realized his "non-gaming" girlfriend had his butt beat. He beat me once in all the years I've known him.

| Many of our teens here are doing that. The looser used to by for them a drink or will treat the winners for a good drinking session.

I've never gambled with money on video games, but yeah- My friends and I usually settle disputes/decisions/etc. through some sort of game (video or otherwise).
Losers get to buy dinner/do the dishes/take out the trash/etc.

| It's definitely not for me. I am not very good at video games to begin with, I guess my hand-eye coordination just got kinda lost on the way. I do know friends who bet on how high of a score they can get on Guitar Hero though.
