So, I had no clue I was supposed to tip when I get a good win. Are there any other things like that I should know about? Like, approaching the tables or anything?

In part it depends where you are from. In the United Kingdom we don't tip much of anything, instead paying a standard service charge that is included in whatever bill we are paying. And so in the casino there will be less tipping too, because we are simply not a culture of tippers.
