Is there any site that accepts paypal or e-gold? I am skeptical on giving my bank account number online. I am afraid that my account will possibly be hacked.

Do you mean your bank account number or your credit/debit card number? If you are using your card Paypal has a card number generator which will make you a new number that is not related to your actual number. You have to validate it, but after that you have an unlimited amount of card numbers available to use for online shopping when you don't want to give out your card number. I imagine some sites take straight paypal as well.

Yea I don't like giving mine out either. Wish there was another way of paying on-line.

E-gold is a good way of paying online. E-gold is not asking for your account number when registering so I guess it is safe enough.

There are a whole bunch of sites which accept PayPal and eGold. So I don't think there should be any problem for you, if your worrying about using your creditcard as you can just hide it using these services.

Oh wow, I never knew about that particular paypal function. That's pretty fantastic. I wonder though, do they also generate expiry dates and card types? And do places actually accept that? It would seem that the fake card shouldn't be validated.

I prefer to pay using Paypal as well, I am weary of giving away my information anywhere online really. I did not know that Paypal offered that type of service though, I didn't even know that was possible.

I looked at my Paypal account tonight and cannot see anything about this. Can someone who has used it explain where in the account I can find details please?
