Does anyone here know what the odds are for hitting a hand above a certain number are?
For example getting 11 and below has a 100 % chance as you will always get this much as a minimum but what is it for higher numbers and particularly 21?

| I would imagine the odds would change based on how many decks are being used. If you can decide that you might be able to find some statistics.

| Wizard of Odds has a good explaination of odds in black jack and when to hit or stand. It does vary by number of decks used. I prefer to play at tables with fewer decks because the odds are better and the house edge is lower.

I wouldn't know about this but obviously a good starting point would be to say that the more decks used would mean the lower the chance of hitting a good hand (like 19 or higher). And obviously the chance to get a better hand slowly decreases going up the ladder.

| The odds would be influenced mainly by which cards have already been played, and the number of decks being used.

| The odds would be influenced mainly by which cards have already been played. However, another major factor obviously is the number of decks being used, as this is closely related to the first factor.
