I have heard talk in the past of a particular Blackjack strategy that increases your odds to above that of the bank. I have not seen detail of this because many places want you to buy the strategy from them which I will not do.
Have you heard of such strategies and what they are based around?

| If there is such a strategy, I do not know it. The thing about blackjack is that everyone likes to play it but it has the lowest odds of winning.

There is a method if you can call it that, that is just based around knowing the odds of getting a certain card when you and the dealer have other particular cards. But I don't know that it hugely increases your chances.

| The strategies differ a lot. Most of them have different levels of reward depending on what strategy you use. A risky strategy like hitting on 17 every time might bring a lot of reward, but it's also very hard to win continually

| Isn't that when most people say luck comes in? I think there are many things you can try and do, but expecting them to work each time is a little too optimistic even for me.

Blackjack is fairly straightforward and I don't believe the odds are low. You have a great and fair chance of beating the house than most games.
As for strategies, card counting, has been the most popular. I doubt they can sell you anything worthwhile.

| I figure that if their strategy was as good as they say, then they be in Las Vegas and Atlantic City until their eyes were popping, rather than selling their 'ideas' on the net.
