There's free stuff to see in Vegas...

The Aquarium at Silverton

CBS Television Research Center

A conservatory (hey, I didn't know there were flowers in Vegas/Nevada)

That chocolate factory recommended for the kids is free

Fountains at Balagio and Caesers  (these sound romantic)

Freemont Street Experience

Lion Habitat at MGM Grand

wow.  who needs to gamble?

yeah right...we do...but it's nice to know it can be for families, too.  which I never thought of.

While I was in Vegas, there were a lot of free stuff and tickets I received. But many were just a ploy to get you into a casino, as to reach your destination, you could bet you had to go through some casino.

Some of the free stuff in Vegas is pretty decent fun for being free. The MGM lion exhibit is free, and it is open for quite a while. There's also an M&M store that is huge and also has a few things to do inside, mainly more for kids though.

Thank you so much for posting this list. Free things to do are always fun, especially when you are planning a trip. Saving money on a trip is always nice.

Who ever said the chocolate factory was great for kids was whacko... it was AWESOME for me (as an adult woman). there's also the Star Trek Experience... and lots of other free stuff to do in Vegas Casinos... but yeah, the idea is to get you there so you will spend money elsewhere in the casino.

You know the Star Trek experience is just awesome! Really, fan of the show or not it's a fantastic place to visit-just bizarre to see and to be surrounded by all the people in costume. A great time!

A chocolate factory? Its been years since I got to visit one of those so that would be my first choice. Forget the kids, any woman can appreciate a chocolate factory just as well as a sugar starved kid.

Wow, it seems that I have been learning something new every day! The next time I am down in Las Vegas, I will seriously need to try some of these places out and see how good they are. And to think, I always thought everything in Vegas cost the big bucks!
