Donald Trump's luck with Casinos seems to be decreasing. For a while in the 80's and early 90's, many viewed him as the king of casinos. Now he is struggling just to keep himself and his casinos open. While his casinos are good, they simply do not make enough money on a consistent basis. Do you think that his luck will ever turn back around, or will he end up having to close his casinos or just sell them to somebody else?

Maybe he has tapped that well dry, and thats the reason he has all these TV shows going on now. Still, would be nice to visit one.

Trust me, his casinos are some of the best that I have ever had the pleasure to visit. Profits just have not been what they should be, especially with how much money a casino like the Taj Mahal costs to operate. Part of the problem is that there's just so much competition down in Atlantic City now, and some lesser casinos have already been long since forced to close. Business isn't easy sometimes

Exactly-the problems are the running costs, and the Trump Entertainment Corporation is trying to do something about that. They are trimming staffing and trying to make operations more streamlined. Whether it will work or not is another matter, but they do seem to be aware of where he problems lie.

I was reading an article recently that said Trump was one of the few to pull out a revenue gain last year in Atlantic City. I don't know about the rest of his "empire" but he must be doing something right in AC.

Trump is always doing something right. lol. The man has more talent in his pinky than most people can hope. Sometimes he doesn't do as well as others, but he definitely always comes out on top at the end. I've been to his AC casinos and they are definitely Trump level quality.

I definitely hope that his fortunes improve, since he totally has the rest of Atlantic City beaten when it comes to quality. Every visit to Taj Mahal is better than visiting almost any other casino down in Atlantic City. Even that new Borgata casino cannot compare in my honest opinion. Say what you will about Trump's personality, but the man has some of the worlds finest casinos!
