In 3 weeks I'll be in vegas for 2 days and will have my 1st time at a blackjack table. Any tips I should know before I go.

Start out playing at a low-bid table, so you get the feel for the play without losing a lot. I believe your best odds are at tables with 4 decks, but I'm not sure on that.

Avoid having the debate of when to double down on 11's or not, I have seen some fights break out over this kind of thing.

Watch and learn as much as you can without making yourself appear to be card counting! Keep it small till then, and you will have a blast.

Well, if it's your first time playing Blackjack in a casino, I would suggest you don't rush in and start playing. Take some time and watch a few games at a few tables and get comfortable before you start.

I would also suggest finding a table with a friendly dealer. I learned how to play both blackjack and craps from the dealers. They will also give you advice on strategy if you ask! (Don't forget to tip) They know the odds are in the casino's favor so it doesn't hurt them to give you good advice.

I also learned from a friendly dealer during a morning visit to a casino in Vegas, it's quieter then and they have more time to chat with you. It's since become my favorite game.

Dont think you know everything, dont bet real high and never drink a ton when you gamble. Those are the best tips I can think of.
