| Yes I watch it on TV. it amazes me how they keep count of the cards that have been played and bet according to the odds. I just don't have the memory like they do. Of course luck has to be on your side also.

| Just watching the players faces is enough. I was once watching and the winner was the only person that was not a professional poker player. I thought that was funny.

| Watching poker on the television really gives you some insights. I like how they tell you all the options and what the players are doing and feeling. It really opens your eyes to the diversity of the simple game of poker.

| Yeah I watch Poker quite a bit. It's amazing how they know all of these stats and strategies, and how they're able to bluff - but be bluffed back at. I also like the commentators because they don't just go, "Okay this guy has a pair" they would pretty much turn a pair into, "OMG HE HAS A PAIR AGAINST THE OTHER GUY'S ACE OF SPADES!! WHAT SHALL HAPPEN NOW?!?!!!??!" Seems that extreme sometimes anyways.

| I don't know why but I like to watch poker matches on TV. I don't intentionally sit down to watch but if I'm channel surfing and I stumble across a game I will often stop and watch the whole thing.

I watch poker on television all of the time. I recently watched a head-to-head tournament. It amazes me how one of the pros can win a hand just because of who they are (like Chris Ferguson).
I do think though that the pros play a lot more hands than I would play simply because they have the experience to do so.

There are few things that are so unpardonably neglected in our country as poker. The upper class knows very little about it. Now and then you find ambassadors who have sort of a general knowledge of the game, but the ignorance of the people is fearful. Why, I have known clergymen, good men, kind-hearted, liberal, sincere, and all that, who did not know the meaning of a "flush." It is enough to make one ashamed of the species. ~Mark Twain
