| With the coming of summer comes a parade of state fairs where I live in New England and trotting races at the fair grounds. I think it takes some getting used to compared to regular horse racing but its a fun sort of delayed excitement watching them sweep around the track at a steady-ish pace. Anyone else enjoy Trotting races?

| I enjoy trotting more than a full out gallop simply because there is more to watch. In a gallop race, the horses are hard to see, and the race is over too quickly. In a trotting race, you get to watch the race longer.
