| Sometimes we get lucky and we can guess to fold or hit for blackjack, sometimes we can get lucky and guess about poker as well. Are there any real stats out there as to what can be predicted and what not? I am 1/2 and 1/2 on this one, sometimes a gut feeling works and sometimes its just luck right?

| Some of the people really strategy in order to know what will be the winning pairs. They maybe computing it or something but I huess this is very hard to do. As for me it is purely luck.

| It's not easy but some real gamblers can really predict. They have their own ways and strategies. Some through keen observation, others are computing. It is really a skill to be mastered.

I think poker is 99% skill and 1% luck. The reason some players seem to "predict" their hand or cards is because they are aware of the pot odds and the likelihood of making the hand. There is a lot that goes on inside the head of a good poker player and while instinct plays a role, skill is the main talent.
