| I am thinking about taking a weekend trip to one of the casinos that are fairly local to me. There is one in upstate New York and one in Connecticut. Have you ever been to either in those states? What are your thoughts about them?

| Are you referring to the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut? If so, I can highly recommend it. They are very friendly there and it's very professionally run. Lots of great comps quite often and they will set you up with a type of frequent shopper type deal, as well. I haven't been to any New York casinos so can't really give an opinion there.

| I have only been to NY and it was for a quick trip and no casino stuff. I would try researching online to maybe find some more info out about both places and check with your budget to make sure whichever you choose fits well.

| I've never been to any in NY, but very few people complain about Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods in CT. They have invested quite heavily to make the money they do so its a pretty safe bet.

| I would call the casino hosts at the places you are considering and ask them what types of promotions they are running. Let them know you are considering other places. I've received some really nice room and show deals that way!
