| How long does a credit card normally take to clear when you make a deposit? I've had other online transactions that were refused, but only after three or four hours. The casinos don't wait that long to let you play, so do they use a better system?

| I'm not sure what type of sites you were visiting or what you were purchasing but I have never had any problems with any site. I am usually credited right away. I have however only registered with one online casino. Maybe I just got lucky.

| I've never had an issue either. Almost every site I've ever used a credit card on told you right away if the card went through, not hours later. I do tend to do things on off peak hours though so maybe there is just no backlog of transactions.

| I am sure their systems are fairly upscale. I know when I run my card as credit it is instant and there is no waiting, now if I am at a store and use the debit side it could take a couple of hours to hit my account just the lag with processing I guess.

There are plenty of places that are able to instantly verify whether or not your account has funds. I recently activated a credit card that had sat for two years, never activated. I did so to buy some airline tickets, and the airline online refused them. I had to call the company, and they stopped it for six reasons that they listed.
Having cleared up that I really was me and that this was genuine, they allowed it. So yes, the access instantaneously is possible.
