They were going to make so much money of ticket revenue and Stanley Cup merchandising. I hope they learned a valuable lesson and address their situation in the summer so that they will be better next season.

RE: Montreal is in round two

This one really hurt. It probably goes without saying but Montreal is a very quiet place today. We thought we were going to get a lot better showing from them than this.

RE: Montreal is in round two

How did Montreal go from winning 3-1 to losing 6-4? I knew the Flyers would be decent but not the kind of team that would make it to the East Finals. Poor Kovalev. This was his best chance to win the Cup since 1994.

RE: Montreal is in round two

I don't think I'd like it to get down to Pittsburg vs Philly either, so I'm hoping the Canadiens put in some great playing before the end of the season. I'm not sure they will make it to the cup either. But one can always hope.

RE: Montreal is in round two

I think the Canadiens can come back and win the series even though they are down 3-1 however I don't think they can win the cup. You can't keep going to seven games with your opponents. Pittsburgh on the other hand is doing it the right way. If you have a decisive edge get down to business and send your opponent to the golf course.

RE: Montreal is in round two

I hope the Canadiens come back because I don't want to see a Pittsburgh Philadelphia Finals. What the heck would that do for hockey? The reason the flyers are good this year as opposed to last year is Daniel Briere!

RE: Montreal is in round two

I'd like to see a Canadian based team take it this year and it looks like Montreal is the last man standing so to speak. My only worry is that they are taking too long to put away weaker opponents like Boston.

RE: Montreal is in round two

I think they have the stuff to go all the way. I'm a little biased though. They lost the second game but they so thoroughly out played Philly. They just have to keep going after it because I don't think Biron can win this series by himself. Although he might steal a game or two like he did the other night.

Montreal is in round two

And they won the first game. It's been a while but I think they can do it this year. Here's hoping Price does as well for the rest of the playoffs.
