People who are that way usually go home losers. If you don't consider card counters and rythym rollers cheaters then the not being greedy is good advise because casinos do watch for that stuff.

RE: Dont get greedy

I disagree. I think that if you hit a winning streak, stay there. The point of poker is to win. The bosses have no reprise if you're not cheating.

RE: Dont get greedy

What do you mean when you say "casino bosses watch for the greedy players"? Everyone has a bad night at the tables every once in awhile. It's better to just cut your losses sometimes rather than try and recoup. Before you know it, you'll find yourself more in the hole than before.

RE: Dont get greedy

Winning streak is one thing but how many times have you lost one hand and then tried to win it all back by being greedy rather than walking away!

RE: Dont get greedy

I'm not sure how you would define the line between greedy and taking advantage of a winning streak. If you're winning hand after hand you're not apt to walk away, which isn't particularly greedy as the house still wins at the end of the day, no matter how much you win.

Dont get greedy

The best thing to do is not to get greedy, win what you can then walk away, the casino bosses watch for the greedy players.
