Note about avatars/images

Hi everyone. Looking through the forum topics I've noticed that a lot of you have not uploaded avatars yet. For those of you who don't know, an avatar is an image file that is displayed on every message you post - you can see mine under my name.

Avatars are a great way to personalise your forum account and can sometimes reveal a lot about your personality - not sure what mine says about me though!!

To add an avatar to your account, first you need to find one. I just used [url=http://images.google.com]Google Image Search[/url] for mine, but there are plenty of sites out there that are specific for avatars. A couple of these are [url]http://www.avatarity.com/[/url] and [url]http://www.avatarist.com/[/url].

Next you need to upload the image to our servers. To do this you need to click on 'Control Panel.' This is where you can change a lot of your account options. One of these is 'Edit Avatar', where you can then choose to upload your image. Once you click 'update' you should then have your avatar uploaded and ready to go!

If you have any problems with this process feel free to post here about it and someone will help you out. Sorry for the long post but I just think that a forum with funny and colourful avatars is a much more interesting place to be!

Creating topics in the correct sub-forum

Hi everyone.

I have noticed recently that a lot of topics are being created in sub-forums that are not the most relevant place for them. Please take the time to select an appropriate sub-forum before posting. If in doubt, feel free to post in 'General Gambling Discussion' as that is a good catch-all location for general topics.

Also I've been noticing that a lot of topics are not being phrased as questions or open discussions - please make sure that people will want to reply to what you have written!!

Otherwise everything is great so please keep it up!
