I believe wild cards are there for people who have no idea what they are doing and to take a lot of the skill out of the game.

Smitty
RE: Frustrating Home Games

When I used to play with my brothers that would always end up happening and I agree it is annoying. I'm just tired of playing a game of seven card stud for example and someone says deuces and one-eyed jacks are wild. It is usually a lot of fun but lately I find myself sick and tired of all of the crazy games and wild cards. Why can't they just play poker? I've actually gone to taking my ante out of the pot if they call wild cards but it makes for some tense times. Any one else tired of "kiddie poker" like this?
L2P
