It isn't rated as a good idea by anyone who is a good gambler. The basic premise is that each time you lose you double your bet for the next time round. The idea is that you keep doing that till you win, so that by the time you win you get back all that you lose.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;But of course if you don't win, then you end up losing a LOT of money this way.
