Losing to the machine and then losing to the friend is a double bummer. We do the opposite. If my friend and I are sitting right next to each other and one hits a big jackpot, we split the prize, even when it is $10,000! (Actually happened, she won $10,000, but I couldn't really split it with her. So she treated me to a first class trip to Vegas a few months later! Cool!)

RE: Playing with a friend

It does sound pretty interesting, though here is a question. Say you loose for the entire trip, do you realize how much razz you will get from friends for the rest of your life? :D</P><P>"Oh Bobby and that bad weekend of karam he had....."

RE: Playing with a friend

No, I've never done anything like that before but I have given friends some of my winnings so they could play longer when they lost all their money. This doesn't happen very often of course...lol!

RE: Playing with a friend

That is a really very strange thing if I may say so! Turning a winner around and making them into a loser is different I guess, reversing the luck. But perhaps it keeps you both playing together for longer.

RE: Playing with a friend

I've never actually heard of doing that, let alone have done that. I think that it would be nice to do that sometimes, but only when I'm having a lucky streak. :)

RE: Playing with a friend

I've never tried or heard that before, but it sounds like a double whammy to me. I loose to the slots, and the loose to my friend. Uh oh!!!

Playing with a friend

Does anybody do a double-gambling thing with slots? Sometimes I'll go with a friend to a couple of slot machines, and whoever gets the least money within 3 rounds will hand over all the winnings to the other person.
