I don't actively stalk, but I have hopped on a machine or two that I saw someone walk away empty handed from in a pub.

RE: Are you a lurker?

I don’t know why some people would want a slot machine that just paid out. I don’t even notice when other machines pay out because I am busy doing my own thing.
RE: Are you a lurker?

I am not a lurker, I find it to be a waste of time as well. Why wait for a machine where the odds of it paying out again is at its lowest when I could be at my own slot winning big?
RE: Are you a lurker?

I find it to be a waste of time to hang around watching machines. There's no guarantee that doing so will win you nay more than would starting at a different machine.

RE: Are you a lurker?

It's the ol' "it's time is near".. thing. Since I don't watch others play I have no idea what's going on with a machine.. I just look for the ones I like and play away.. (typically for me it's dollars with three reels and two coin play.)

RE: Are you a lurker?

When I play the slots, I actually avoid the machines that just paid out. I think the odds are that the machine won't pay out again too quickly. I'm not sure that this is always the case but I seem to do much better by playing the machines that haven't paid out in a while.

RE: Are you a lurker?

Waiting on a slot machine, in my opinion, is a waste of time. Since the machine is constantly (1000 times per second) calculating payouts, just because someone else is winning doesn't mean I will. I have walked up to machines that others were losing at and won though. Because I figured that "it was time" for the machine to payout. I've gotten some looks from that I can tell you.

Are you a lurker?

When you see someone winning big on a machine, do you hang around and wait for them to leave so you can take their spot?
