It would be a great job for say a struggling college student. but for myself I would have to say I would be afraid I'd get tired of being there and what is the fun in that!!

RE: Would you work in a casino?

I would love to work in a casino. The tips and pay are very good so I would be quite well off. Good tips, and not around the tables too much to take the fun out of gambling in my off time. I don't think I'd have any issue with spending all my check there.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

After thinking about it, I believe it would be like living by the beach. It was a great place to go when it was special. now that I'm here... Eh.

I do think though, that it would probably be a great way to learn how the casinos are really treating us with the odds.. are they really resetting the slots on fridays?

RE: Would you work in a casino?

Casino employees make really good money compared to similar jobs in other locations (ie waitress, bartenders, etc.). As long as you don't loose it all before you make it out the door or out of the casino neighborhood it would be a great money making job.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

I think that if I worked there, I would want to get out of there as soon as my shift was over.

That is a good rule that you can't gamble in a casino where you work.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

No thank you! Not only do I hate cigarette smoke, but the stress and scrutiny of working with that money (casino workers are under crazy observation/suspicion), I'd rather not.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

Now that is not to say you couldn't call a friend or family member and let them know that a machine or table is doing well. ;) I used to have a friend whose dad worked at the casino and he would always call her and do that.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

I never really knew that about not being able to work and play in the same casino. The one I go to regularly, really needs some good waitresses~ maybe I should go and apply.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

I would in a heartbeat as a waitress. I know someone who used to work in Vegas and she made mad money in tips. Sometimes it's the alcohol, sometimes it's just a dude who's high on a win. Sounds great to me.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

I surely would work in a casino. It's an honest job and one of the perks that I can see, is that I'd get to learn how to play most, if not all of the games, which I could then try my hand in my own leisure time. The fact that you can't play where you work is a good idea.:P

RE: Would you work in a casino?

I'd definitely consider working in a casino. I used to work with someone who was trying to be a dealer.

He studied the games and worked some private parties.

I know someone else who organizes charity and corporate casino nights, too.

RE: Would you work in a casino?

You arent allowed to gamble in the casino you work in which I think is a good idea.
