No way should Burress been open. But apparently The cameras weren't trained on the Giants bench that play because it worked.

In reality the Giants simply played better than all the other teams they played in the post season.

Can they do it again? No reason why not. Same players, same coaches.. Motivation? We'll see.

RE: Repeat for Giants. I think they played very well to get to the SuperBowl. I agree though that it will be hard for them to repeat this season.

RE: Repeat for Giants. Nope, Dallas will be going all the way this year! :P

RE: Repeat for Giants. In fact, their victory can be better attributed to mistakes the Pats made, than to their own superior skills.

RE: Repeat for Giants. They might learn abit about how to takes things to the next level and if they don't then they have another year to look back and reflect on the things they did wrong.

RE: Repeat for Giants. The Giants pulled off a phenomenal victory in 2008, but nothing about their win or their team says "legacy" the way, say, the Paatriots team under Brady does.

RE: Repeat for Giants. No way!

The thing about the Giants is that they got hot at just the right time, and that's what football is all about. Remember, just a few weeks before the playoffs, there were a lot in New York calling for Tom Coughlin's head on a platter and questioning Eli Manning as the future of the organization. I don't see that happening this year, but the NFC has improved, and may just be too deep to expect them to repeat.

RE: Repeat for Giants. No way!

I was rooting for this this year and think they had a terrific run. I don't think they have the stuff to repeat. I think they will get a rough start to the season and then suffer a few key injuries and finish in the middle of the pack. I just have this sense about them. What do you think?
