I am not too good at the popping ones though. I do think it takes some skill because I cannot ever seem to figure out which ones to pop to get the ones that are alone next to the same colors so they can be popped too! I do love to play games like Bejeweled and I am really good at those!!

RE: Does Bubble Pop Count

I love these types of games, both the popping type and the Tetris clones. Both can be terribly addictive, though, as anyone can tell you that planned a quick break from work and then realized an hour had passed trying to beat their score.

RE: Does Bubble Pop Count

Okay, I get it - just never heard them referred to that way before. I love those types of games but it's probably because I'm pretty good at them. I do think they require some skill as you need to plan ahead to break the most. I would love to see the Smirnoff bottle version...care to post a link?

RE: Does Bubble Pop Count

I think those little games do require some skill. You need to have a strategy to go about popping the stuff. I love playing them too, although I'm not very good at them at all. You're right - they are wildly addictive.

RE: Does Bubble Pop Count

Yup, and they normally play sounds or cute animations as you clear them out which is why I got addicted. They're just so cute and they make dozens of varieties on every game site. You could play a different one every day and not run out for a year or more. Cubez is one of my favorites as they talk as you clear them.

RE: Does Bubble Pop Count

Bubble pop games are kind of like tetris, but reverse. There is a set up of colored bubbles (or whatever) and you have to clear the area to move on to the next round, you are given a bubble and you shoot it up at the colors and try to match color to color and breaking more gives you a bigger score.

And no, I think it's mostly luck with a little skill.

RE: Does Bubble Pop Count

Okay, I'll bite...what the heck is a "popping" game? I'm trying to imagine what it could be but I'm just drawing a blank. Fail to see a connection between Smirnoff bottles and the other things you list so that's not helping.

Does Bubble Pop Count

I have a weakness for "popping" games. Bubbles, gemstones, Smirnoff bottles, candy, you name it. But I'm not really sold that they take skill so much as luck. I figure anything I can play idly while talking on the phone or watching TV can't require too much skill?
