Anyone into wrestling here? Anyone? Not that it's my favorite sport (I prefer boxing) but I have a little bit of interest, I admit.

Not a fan here sorry. But I did see Stacey Keibler in a nightclub in Sydney once - I am certainly a fan of hers!!

My interest in the sport dramatically waned after the death of two popular wrestlers who are good friends. The last one committed suicide after he killed his wife and son for some unexplained circumstances. But all these were blamed to the drugs that they're taking.

I used to be a big fan as a kid, but there is so much more emphasis on the plot lines these days to market wrestling instead of the actual wrestling its not cool anymore. I mean its always been fake, but now its all about image, drug usage and such. Wrestlers used to be good husbands and dads, now they change their names to reinvent themselves for more media and have their wives leave them suddenly.

What kind of wrestling are we talking about in here? If this is about wrestlings like WWE, which I think it is, then I would say that this is not really a sport at all. They are just entertainers with big or athletic bodies.

Once I like to watch these great actors for I admire them in putting their lives at risk just for the entertainment of everyone. And one thing more is that they promote the bad effects of drugs but I was disappointed when they themselves use the drugs they discourage to use.

I think so-called pro wrestling like what obtains in the WWF etc, is a joke.  It shouldn't even be called a sport as it's so ridiculously scripted.
