| I actually learned to play poker when I was a little kid. My family got together pretty often to play cards and I always got to watch as long as I didn't do anything distracting. I wasn't long before I caught on. I was 8 years old when they let me take my allowance and actually sit down and play a game. I won a pot and I quit. LOL It was my cousin who really sat down with me and taught me what to do, and what not to do (like, winning a hand and quitting for example). I think they let me in the games so young because I was so in the middle agewise. Cousins that were teenagers were playing in the game, and then there was me, and then the next ones were toddlers/babies. Kinda left me with nobody to even talk to on those nights.

| I was taught by friends on how to play poker. This was in high school and we knew the legal age it was to gamble so we used nail polish, combs, barrettes, makeup and other things like that as a pot lol

| I think I just learned gradually while hanging out with my friends. I don't remember any one person who took me out to teach poker.

| My boyfriend has taught me most of what I know. He's a remarkably good teacher, more so than I thought at first.

| I played a small time when I was about 10 with my parents, they used to host poker nights at our home. After that I started in high school with a friend.

| My father taught me, at about the same time that he taught me to drink. I guess he passed on all his bad habits, huh.

Corrupted by friends and family. For shame. You'll find this funny. I learned from my friends at a very special college. We were all studying theology.

My older brother taught me how to play when I was, oh, twelve or so. I think he wanted to clean out my piggy bank. But I got him back later by reading about poker at the library, and then stomping him next time we played.
